EzPeek™ Search (“EzPeek,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a browser extension designed to help users analyze product value, detect pricing inefficiencies, and find better purchasing options while shopping online.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect or process, how we use it, and your rights as a user.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account or sign in, we may collect:
- Email address
- Authentication tokens or session credentials, including JWTs
Product and Browsing Data
When you use EzPeek Search on supported shopping websites such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, eBay, Best Buy, Google Shopping, and similar supported pages, the extension may process:
- Product titles, descriptions, and listing details
- Displayed product prices
- Seller information shown on the listing
- Public review and rating information
- Page URL and marketplace source
- Search queries, when relevant to supported shopping pages
This information is processed only to generate shopping insights and recommendations related to the supported page being viewed.
Usage and Analytics Data
We may collect limited usage and analytics information in order to improve the service, including:
- Estimated savings events
- Product comparison interactions
- Session-level activity that is not payment-sensitive
2. How We Use Your Information
We may use collected or processed information to:
- Analyze product listings and detect better pricing options
- Provide real-time comparisons and recommendations
- Estimate potential savings
- Improve the performance and accuracy of the extension

We do not use your information for advertising targeting.
3. Where Your Data Is Processed

- Our backend systems, including infrastructure hosted through Railway, for product analysis and analytics
- Stripe for payment processing and subscription management
We do not store or process your full credit card information. Payment information is handled by Stripe according to Stripe’s own policies and systems.
4. Data Storage
- Authentication tokens and extension preferences may be stored locally using Chrome storage
- Account and usage data may be stored in our database systems, including Neon PostgreSQL
- Some session-related data may be stored temporarily for performance, diagnostics, or analytics
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
We may share limited information only with service providers needed to operate the platform, such as Stripe for billing and payment workflows.
6. User Control
- You can manage your account through your profile page
- You can cancel your subscription at any time
- You can stop extension-based data processing by disabling or uninstalling the extension
7. Permissions Justification
EzPeek Search requires access to supported shopping websites in order to:
- Read product listing data
- Analyze pricing and product details
- Provide real-time comparisons and recommendations
The extension is designed not to interact with checkout forms or collect payment card details from shopping websites.
8. Browsing Activity
EzPeek Search does not monitor unrelated browsing across the internet. The extension is intended to activate only on supported shopping pages where its analysis features are relevant.
9. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to help protect information we process. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children’s Privacy
EzPeek Search is not intended for use by children under the age of 13.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as EzPeek EzPeek evolves. Updates will be posted on this page and will reflect the current behavior of the extension and related services.
