A short walkthrough of the icons, badges, and ranking modes you'll see across EzPeek SmartShop. Skim it once and you'll know exactly what every symbol means.
1. The icons at the top of the page
These live in the slim header above your search. They work from any page.
📋Shopping Lists
Add an item to a named list (birthdays, holidays, home projects, and more). Lists watch for better prices in the background and notify you when conditions align.
↗Share
Share a deal link with friends or family. Uses your device's native share sheet (iOS/Android/desktop) and falls back to email. No account needed to view a shared link.
🚩Report
Flag a listing that seems wrong — bad price, broken link, quality concern. Community reports improve rankings for everyone.
✕Remove from results
Hide a result you don't want to see. The search re-ranks instantly without it so you can focus on the options that matter.
2. The four ranking modes
Tap a chip under the search bar to re-sort your results by what matters most for the purchase.
🧠Smartest
Best overall value across price, shipping, returns, reviews, and seller trust. This is the default and usually the right answer.
💰Cheapest
Lowest total cost including shipping and tax. Ignores delivery speed and seller reputation — pure price.
⚡Fastest
Soonest delivery. Surfaces same-day or next-day options first, even if they cost a little more.
🛡️Safest
Most reliable seller with the strongest return policy and review history. Good when the item is expensive or hard to return.
3. The badges on the Top Pick card
The green winner card surfaces the trust signals most shoppers scan first. Hover on desktop for the full description; on mobile each badge has a short label underneath.
Prime Eligible Shipping
This retailer ships the item with Amazon Prime benefits — typically fast, free delivery for Prime members.
Return window (e.g. 365-day returns)
How many days you have to return the item. Longer windows mean lower risk if the product doesn't work out.
Star rating (e.g. 4.7★ — 1.4k reviews)
Average customer rating and total review volume. High ratings with high review counts carry the most weight.
Returns volume (e.g. 200 returns)
Community-reported returns count — useful as a real-world quality check, separate from star ratings.
4. Tags on individual results
Every result below the Top Pick carries its own signal. These make it easy to scan for the one reason you might pick it.
AD
This is a sponsored or paid placement from Google Shopping. We show them by default so you can see the full market, but we never let sponsors buy the top pick.
Cheapest
This result has the lowest total price among all visible options.
Fastest delivery
This result has the shortest delivery estimate.
⚠ Unverified
This store is not on our verified retailer list. We show it for transparency but flag the extra risk.
📦 Multi-pack / Bulk
This listing is a 2-pack, 4-pack, or bulk option. Useful for comparing per-unit cost to single items.
🚩 Community reports
How many shoppers have flagged this listing. More flags = more caution warranted.
5. Saving deals, using lists, and your savings counter
Saving and sharing are always available — even before you buy. These actions grow your personal deal library and power your savings counter over time.
Save to MyLists (heart icon)
Tap the heart on any deal to save it. Your Saved Deals page lets you revisit, share, or remove any saved item. Saving is always free and never requires a purchase.
Adding to a shopping list (clipboard icon)
Use the clipboard icon to add an item to a named list. Create lists for birthdays, holidays, home projects, or anything else. Lists are private by default and shareable with a link.
Sharing deals
The share arrow (↗) sends the deal through your device's native share sheet — iMessage, email, WhatsApp, or anything else installed. No one needs an account to view a shared deal.
Your savings counter (estimated)
The green bar at the top of Search shows your estimated savings — calculated per click-through as the median price of alternatives shown in that search minus the price you opened. It also tracks how many deals you've taken and how many sponsored ads you've sidestepped. During your trial it counts since trial start; after you subscribe it resets monthly. Verified savings (receipt-confirmed) live separately on /savings.
No ad space sold. No paid rankings. No inflated reference prices.
EzPeek SmartShop never lets a retailer pay to win. When an upstream feed labels a listing “sponsored,” we carry that label through honestly and rank the listing on its merits — sponsored status is never a ranking factor on our side. So when you see a Top Pick, it really is the best deal we can find for you. That's the whole point.
